We thought the price was high at first, but once we saw the quality of the work—and then lived with the finished result—it made sense. The job was done correctly, and the difference was obvious. We actually had the crew do a few additional projects before they left because it was a good opportunity to replace some previous “general contractor” work with work done by people who clearly know their craft. We’re already having them estimate more work on the property because we know what kind of result we’re going to get. They’re good, so don’t be surprised if you have to wait to get on the schedule. We recently had our windows and sliding doors replaced by Morrison Custom Construction, and I honestly can't recommend them enough. Like many homeowners, we've had many frustrating contractor experiences over the years where communication is difficult, work is rushed and sub-par, and we're left feeling disappointed. Morrison was refreshing exception to that trend. Right from the beginning, Luke stood out. He never tried to sell us on cheap shortcuts. He described his full process in detail, including taking every measure to ensure proper waterproofing at each opening. He also spent an extensive amount of time working with us before we signed anything to help us choose the right window & door brand, specifications, and even style of interior trim. He helped us find a custom trim look that integrates into our early 2000s house while giving it a cleaner, more modern look than the original trim. Once the project started, Luke and each member of his crew (Zach, Scott, Collin, and Rick) were true professionals. They were willing to listen any time we had a question or concern. Whenever we brought up a detail we wanted addressed, they were receptive, capable, and willing to make it right without any hassle. I don't expect to have any issues with our new windows and doors, but if we ever do, I'm confident that Luke and his crew would make it right.
